This is a key process for any Company. Supply Chain is the key function to assure the synchronization of the processes involved in the S&OP, and the ownership of the Process have to e on the CEO as Daniel said in his comments

Based on my experience I would disagree. I’ve experienced an S&OP process managed by Finance and in this case it drove the forecast to support the business plan, instead of reality.
In my perfect world the S&OP process and team would be completely independent, reporting only to the CEO. And this because without an independent view of demand, supply, marketing finance and sales, it’s very easy to have one of these dominate all the others.
