My firm has begun our journey to horizontally integrate supply chain planning & execution with our major customers and suppliers. We are using tools like cloud computing, best-in-breed software tools, near real-time analytics, etc. . Machine Learning is in our site but first we need to integrate the basics. I personally wonder how we are going to synchronize our physical capabilities with the power of processes and technology.
